I have been MIA for a while. From pretty much everywhere, dealing with the crap that life loves to give us.
Not much to talk about that isn't frustrating, depressing or down right stupid so I'll just tell ya all a little of what home life is lately...
School, two kids in high school, one a senior, one a junior. Get them up at 6:30am make lunches for all three kids, shower, dress and it's off to school by 7:15am. I wake up my third child who is in Jr. High at 7:15 to get in the shower, take the girls to high school, come home and make PJ eat breakfast and brush his teeth and hair. Take him to school at 8:15 and get myself to work by 8:30.
Work and then work some more, or when I can take a break I come here. You can see there hasn't been much in the way of breaks lately. :)
Check my home e-mails and put out the many fires that I deal with.
Go home at 5pm to take PJ to football practice. I hang out for about 30 minutes because I am team mom and have to answer questions, hand out fliers or collect money.
Come home and cook dinner for the rest of the family...putting PJ's dinner in the oven for when practice is over. At 8pm I go and pick PJ up. Practice ends somewhere between 8:30 & 9pm, but again, I need to be at the field for the parents I missed in the beginning of practice.
Home at 9ish and dinner for PJ, make him wash his face, do his homework and then go to bed. The girls are usually in bed by this time so I don't have to hassle them.
Then I collapse into bed exhausted. Day done, only to be started again the following morning at 6:30am. I am really thinking about getting up at 5:30 to get a workout in the morning since I have gained 40lbs. I haven't been able to get myself up to do this though. I wondered why, but after writing down my day like that I now know why. I'm still going to have to, maybe when I feel a little better I will.
How is your day? Anyone doing fun things that I can be jealous of? Interesting things that don't include football, dinner or homework? Bueller?
