What is the meanest thing someone has done to you?
When I was flag corps director (my last year), a girl accused me basically, of verbal abuse (which was ridiculous), her parents came in to scream at the band director and me, and she got what she wanted: she didn't do any of the work, and got a credit for it. Basically, she quit without telling anyone, and 4 months later - this happened . . . right at the end of the year.

Life is a challenge, and if I don't take the challenge, I will die.

What happened in the past can stay in the past! Dredging up painful memories is not something I want to do.
I will tell you all something that happened during a fight with my husband that I find hilarious. We weren't even fighting really. We were more like disagreeing, not even raising our voices. I could tell he was getting frustrated. I think it was more frustration with events happening around us than with me.
I was in the kitchen slicing a tomato for a sub sandwich and he came around behind me and actually hit the tomato with his fist. Tomato pieces went flying everywhere. I took one look at him and couldn't help myself. I started laughing. The kids started laughing. He realized he had just made tomato juice fly everywhere and then he started laughing. This happened about 7 years ago and the kids will still bring it up. Ahhhh, good times.
