My poor little Mela. She had to go to the emergency vet yet again, (second time in a week) this time her stomach turned on her and almost killed her. The did an emergency surgery yesterday. She is doing ok now. Meanwhile I am playing nursemaid to 7 little puppies who have lost their momma for a few days. :( They eat every two hours... I need some rest!
Thank goodness they are eating well though. Hopefully Mela will come home soon. They are actually milking her at the vets to keep her milk flowing. That is funny. My son asked if he could milk her on Saturday after she had delivered all her pups. :) I told him I suppose so, but Mela might not like it much. Now she doesn't have a choice. Poor baby.
